The Vios Monitoring System (VMS) Bedside Monitor is intended for use by medicall
The Vios Monitoring System (VMS) Bedside Monitor is intended for use by medically qualified personnel for physiological vital signs monitoring of adult (18+) patients in healthcare facilities. It is indicated for use in monitoring of 7-Lead ECG, heart rate, respiratory rate, pulse rate, functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin, non-invasive blood pressure, and patient posture and activity. VMS allows for the input of body temperature and can display data from peripheral devices. VMS can generate alerts when rate-based cardiac arrhythmias are detected and when physiological vital signs fall outside of selected parameters. The VMS Bedside Monitor is intended to be used by Vios-trained clinical professionals who also have a working knowledge of medical procedures, practices, and terminology, as required for monitoring patients.

The Vios Monitoring System (VMS) Central Server (CS) Software acts as the server relay for the VMS system. It transmits, stores, and encrypts patient demographic and vitals data between multiple Vios BSMs to the Vios CSM. The Vios Central Server allows for retrieval of patient demographics, vitals and alarm data and product utilization through retrieval of audit logs. The Vios Central Server allows for creation and configuration of Monitoring Units (i.e. Wards), Caregivers, Departments, Rooms, Beds, and Default Monitoring Profiles for BSMs that are in Connected Mode. The Vios Central Station Monitor/Central Server Software is indicated for use by healthcare professionals for the purpose of centralized monitoring of patient data within a healthcare facility. The Vios Central Station Monitor/Central Server SW receives, stores, manages and displays patient physiological and waveform data and alarms generated by Vios proprietary patient vitals monitoring software.

The membrane and the electrolyte of SenTec TC Sensors must be changed periodically. For this purpose the old sensor membrane must be removed, the sensor surface must be cleaned, new electrolyte must be applied and a new sensor membrane must be put on. The patented Membrane Changer (MC) is a tool that allows the user to carry out the whole membrane change process by 4 simple press-and-turn steps. The MC is single-use.

PC based software required a) to configure special (safety-relevant) settings of the SenTec Digital Monitor (SDM), b) to manage ‘SDM Parameters Settings’ and c) to download trend data from the internal memory of the SDM to a PC. It includes features to analyze and view the downloaded trend data. The V-STATS™ software includes the V-CareNeT™ Package, which enables remote monitoring and alarm surveillance for multiple SDMs being connected to the same network as the PC with V-STATS™.
