A collection of sterile devices intended to be used to inject cardioplegia solut
A collection of sterile devices intended to be used to inject cardioplegia solution into the heart to interrupt its contractions during cardiopulmonary bypass surgery. It typically consists of tubing/adaptor, a filter, and a heat exchanger. This is single-use device.
Quadrox-i Hollow Membrane Oxygenator, Adult, with VHK Reservior, unsealed, with
Quadrox-i Hollow Membrane Oxygenator, Adult, with VHK Reservior, unsealed, with Universal Adaptor, without Filter; vacuum-tight, non-Coated, Sterile. The QUADROX-i Adult oxygenators are blood-gas exchangers with integrated heat exchanger and optionally integrated arterial blood filter. They are used in cardiac surgery, in combination with a heart-lung machine, to oxygenate blood, remove carbon dioxide and adjust blood temperature.
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir, Adult, non-coated, with cardiotomy filter
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir, Adult, non-coated, with cardiotomy filter, without screw connector, Sterile. The Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoirs are developed for the use in the field cardiopulmonary bypass operation. They are used as blood buffer in the extracorporeal circuit and as collecting and defoaming device for sucked blood. The vacuum-tight version of the VHK reservoir can also be employed postoperatively as drainage and auto-transfusion reservoir (e.g., for thorax drainage) to return the autologous blood to the patient which was removed from the thorax for the volume exchange.
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir, Adult, Vacuum-tight, with SOFTLINE Coatin
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir, Adult, Vacuum-tight, with SOFTLINE Coating, without screw connector, Sterile. The Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoirs are developed for the use in the field cardiopulmonary bypass operation. They are used as blood buffer in the extracorporeal circuit and as collecting and defoaming device for sucked blood. The vacuum-tight version of the VHK reservoir (VHK 71000) can also be employed postoperatively as drainage and auto-transfusion reservoir (e.g., for thorax drainage) to return the autologous blood to the patient which was removed from the thorax for the volume exchange.
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir (MACE) for pediatrics with SOFTLINE Coatin
Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir (MACE) for pediatrics with SOFTLINE Coating, vacuum-tight, Sterile. The Paediatric (VHK 31000) Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoirs are developed for the use in the field cardiopulmonary bypass operation. They are used as blood buffer in the extracorporeal circuit and as collecting and defoaming device for sucked blood. Both reservoirs are of identical design, differing only in the size, to enable the defined performance within flow rates, required for neonatal or paediatric patients. The reservoirs can also be employed postoperatively as drainage and auto-transfusion reservoir (e.g., for thorax drainage) to return the autologous blood to the patient which was removed from the thorax for the volume exchange.
Neonatal Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir (MACE) neonatal with SOFTLINE Coa
Neonatal Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoir (MACE) neonatal with SOFTLINE Coating, vacuum-tight, Sterile. The Neonatal (VHK 11000) Venous Hardshell Cardiotomy Reservoirs are developed for the use in the field cardiopulmonary bypass operation. They are used as blood buffer in the extracorporeal circuit and as collecting and defoaming device for sucked blood. Both reservoirs are of identical design, differing only in the size, to enable the defined performance within flow rates, required for neonatal or pediatric patients. The reservoirs can also be employed postoperatively as drainage and autotransfusion reservoir (e.g., for thorax drainage) to return the autologous blood to the patient which was removed from the thorax for the volume exchange.

Venous Bubble Trap, BIOLINE Coating (BEQ), and sterile. The Venous Bubble Trap VBT 160 is designed to remove gross air in the venous line before it is entering the arterial pump and the following components of the extra corporeal circuit (ECC). The VBT has been especially developed as an additional safety feature for minimized systems, e.g. MECC, where venous reservoirs are missing. The VBT is using different physical principals for air removal.
