The heart of the Decisio product is a server that sits in the hospital’s data center. It connects flexibly to the clinical information systems that already exist within the hospital, e.g. vitals monitoring feeds, lab information systems, medication orders and administration, and the electronic medical record system. That server powers two products. The first is an analytics platform. This analytics tool gives unprecedented, real-time transparency into the operations of the hospital. With this view, hospital administrators and academic clinicians can identify patient safety gaps and continually improve hospital protocols.The second product flows from the first. When protocols are defined, Decisio can digitize those processes, and deploy them to the point of patient care. Decisio makes beautiful, FDA-cleared displays that sit at the bedside, at nursing stations, and on mobile devices with two goals: increasing compliance with hospital protocols and decreasing time to intervention.
